The client
A nutrition supplement brand with a physical store and a small online presence. It had a strong Domain Rating, good backlinks and decent traffic. The challenge was commercial: online conversion was low and web revenue had been flat year over year. Online is a small part of a mainly offline business, so percentage growth and better unit economics were the outcomes that mattered.
The strategy
I found the high purchase-intent keywords in the niche and ran a large hybrid AI content program on custom AI templates, publishing 24 SEO-optimized articles a month, each aimed at a valuable commercial term.
The results
Over the measurement period:
- Users and new users both up about 63%, reaching 97,000 users and 94,000 new users a month
- Monthly online revenue up 128.6%, from $1,443 to $3,300
- Completed purchases up 59.2%, from 49 to 78 a month
- Average order value up 43.6%, from $29.46 to $42.31
- Revenue per user up 40.3%, from $0.024 to $0.034 per online visitor
- SEO customer acquisition cost down 37.2%, from $17.35 to $10.90 per online customer
The site now ranks in positions 3 to 10 for highly competitive purchase-intent keywords. The rise in order value suggests the new audience includes buyers with more to spend: a lasting gain in positioning, beyond traffic alone.
